GLOBAL OFFSHORE WIND SUMMIT JAPAN 2026

EVENT PROGRAM OVERVIEW

2026.10.13 Tue.〜10.15 Thu.
Program Notes
  1. Admission: Access to the Conference Venue (Convention Hall Nos. 2–4, 2F) requires a valid conference ticket, except during designated open-access periods. Admission to the 1F Exhibition Hall and Meeting Rooms is generally free of charge. However, advance registration may be required for certain Open Seminars and Public Seminars.
  2. Conference Sessions: The conference will be held in the Main Conference Hall (Convention Hall Nos. 3 & 4) and the Second Conference Hall (Convention Hall No. 2) on the second floor. The program includes the Opening Ceremony, Organizer Presentations, Keynote Speeches, Panel Discussions, Invited & Special Lectures, and Technical Presentations.
  3. Regional Forum & Networking: The Regional Forum & Networking, to be held in the Networking Rooms (Convention Hall Nos. 1 & 2) from 9:15AM to 1:30 PM on October 14, is a closed business forum designed to promote industrial collaboration and business networking between Europe and East Asia. The forum is jointly organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan, the Korea Wind Energy Industry Association (KWEIA), and the Japan Wind Power Association (JWPA). Participants will include offshore wind industry stakeholders from Europe, Japan, Korea, and other East Asian economies. Organizations sponsoring the Regional Forum & Networking will provide support for the networking reception and will receive the opportunity to deliver a 15-minute presentation during the forum. Participation is limited to companies and organizations with a genuine interest in industrial collaboration and business partnerships between Europe and East Asia. Advance registration is required, participation is free of charge, and attendance is limited to up to three representatives per organization. As the working language of the forum will be English and/or Japanese, participating organizations are requested to arrange their own interpretation support if necessary. In addition, selected companies and organizations may be invited directly by the organizers.
  4. Industry–Academia & Public Seminars / Open Seminars: The Industry–Academia & Public Seminar program on the first floor will feature presentations by organizations such as IACOW, the Marine Academy, and university students from the Kyushu region, as well as seminars on offshore wind energy and SDGs for the general public. Admission is free; however, advance registration may be required for certain sessions. Open Seminars are independently organized by sponsoring companies, exhibitors, embassies, or other organizations. The right to host these seminars is available for purchase. Admission for seminar attendees is generally free of charge.
  5. Networking Sessions: In addition to the Regional Forum & Networking, four 90-minute Networking Sessions are scheduled: October 13: 11:30–13:00 and 15:30–17:00 / October 14: 15:30–17:00 / October 15: 10:30–12:00. These sessions are offered as an optional benefit for Embassy Booth Exhibitors. Sessions will be held only if requested.
  6. Request Meetings: Upon request, JWPA will arrange private closed-door meetings with overseas government agencies, industry associations, and other organizations wishing to meet individually with JWPA representatives during the event.
